Most of the world’s great religions also maintain that numbers contain hidden meanings that hold the secrets of the universe. Each number is also associated with certain gods, goddesses, colors, flowers, gemstones and of course, superstitions.
The Number 1
In Islamic, Jewish and Christian religions the number 1 is associated with the one God. For medieval alchemists and metaphysicians the number was associated with the Philosopher’s Stone, the unknown catalyst that was thought to transform base metals magically into gold.
Once in a while I stumble accross a piece of fascinating news which I like to share here!
I have seen the story on MyWay.com. Click on the link below to read the whole story! In essence it says that to believe now that Earth is the only place harboring life is essentially like believing in miracles and Scientists don’t tend to believe in miracles!

Lately, a handful of new discoveries make it seem more likely that we are not alone – that there is life somewhere else in the universe.
In the past several days, scientists have reported there are three times as many stars as they previously thought. Another group of researchers discovered a microbe can live on arsenic, expanding our understanding of how life can thrive under the harshest environments. And earlier this year, astronomers for the first time said they’d found a potentially habitable planet.
“The evidence is just getting stronger and stronger,” said Carl Pilcher, director of NASA’s Astrobiology Institute, which studies the origins, evolution and possibilities of life in the universe. “I think anybody looking at this evidence is going to say, ‘There’s got to be life out there.’”
There are other paranormal phenomena, even documented in the Bible, which defy gravity. This video features an african shaman, who we can see preparing and performing a levitation. And it doesn’t look like the usual trickery…
It is not unusual to find many early Christian artefacts adorned with rock crystal as an energiser of the “Word”. Many different gemstones where used to glorify different artefacts such as crosses, chalices, shrines and altars. The use of rock crystal and quartz was to enliven an object, and by kissing the object, say a bishops ring, personal favour would flow and grace be given. The stone age man used crystals to constract circles, dolmens and standing stones.
Do you belief in miracles? If you don’t, you will after you read this. Whatever your religious orientation, the Autobiography of a Yogi
is a fantastic account of spiritual miracles. This review from Amazon by Noniere Meuse is a great summary of the essence of this outstanding book:
Amazing extract from the Imax Movie Cosmic Voyage, narrated most beautifully by Morgan Freeman.
This part of the film brings us closer to the understanding of size.
My favorite quote form the movie: …And here about 15 Billion Lightyears from Venice, we approach the outer limits of the visible Universe…
What lies beyond this cosmic horizon, we can not see, and do not know..
Andreas Moritz talks about his book Cancer Is Not A Disease – It’s A Survival Mechanism
, he talks about Dualism, positive thinking, the universe, quantum physics, death and how he himself died 3 times in his life. This is a MUST SEE!
The 1973 movie “Don’t Look Now” with Donald Sutherland is a masterpiece, a movie I personally could never forget and I can recall most of it, even though it has been 20 years since I have last watched it.
Up to only a few days ago I wasn’t aware that the movie is involved in a dramatic case of precognition. Whilst it is not unusual that art immitates life, there are some disturbing cases where life imitates art and “Don’t Look Now” is one of them.
The Bible talks of many miraculous events and most often these events seem impossible, at least to the sceptic. However, others find a distict similarity to many paranormal events known to Psychical Researchers.
