Core elements of the Law of Attraction were present in many of the world’s oldest cultures. If we can agree that a suitable definition of the Law is “That which is like unto itself, is drawn”, then many processes, rituals and activities undertaken by cultures and races many years ago, correspond to the Law. Any ancient ritual, be it by Aztecs, Egyptians, native American Indians, or even tribes today in the South America rainforest, had or has a purpose. It is not just some pass-time or long-forgotten memory being trotted out for no reason.
When was the Law of Attraction first recognised? The simple answer is that because it wasn’t specifically documented as such, no one knows. But it is not new!
Many inspirational and revelatory quotes spoken, recorded an attributed to great people in history appear to show that they have peered behind the curtain and tapped into what is beyond. While they may not have called it the Law of Attraction, the Universal Law, or whatever label we use today, their quotes would seem to show that they had a grasp of the core belief in the system or something closely allied to it.

Sitchin, who died last year aged 90, was an Azerbaijani-born American author of books promoting a unique explanation for human origins involving ancient astronauts. Here he delivers a stand out presentation, fascinating and funny at times.
Sitchin attributes the creation of the ancient Sumerian culture to the Anunnaki, which he states was a race of extra-terrestrials from a planet beyond Neptune called Nibiru. He believed this hypothetical planet of Nibiru to be in an elongated, elliptical orbit in the Earth’s own Solar System, asserting that Sumerian mythology reflects this view.

It was the book that inspired this blog. Finally we get to see the movie in 2012. Ron Howard directed and Tom Hanks stars! Have a look at the (not so official) preview. Coming close to the release in 2012, we increasingly see fan made trailers appearing on Youtube.
Ever since the earliest civilisation human beings have marvelled at the stars and importantly, asked questions of what they were looking at. It was the famous physicist Albert Einstein who first used mathematical equations to show how time slowed down the closer it approached the speed of light. One example used in another article is that of a speeding train. If that train could travel at 99.999 percent of the speed of light, then 1 year onboard would be 223 years back at the station. Indeed the short answer to the question of whether time travel is possible would be yes, time travel is possible, in fact, it has happened before.
It might be interesting to know what the Bible says on the topic of souls, both human and amimal. The word “soul” is translated from the Hebrew ne’phesh ,and from the Greek psy’khe. The Bible’s usage shows the Soul to be a person or animal or the life that a person or animal enjoys.
Genesis says that God formed Man and blew into his nostrils the breath of life ,amd Man “became” aliving Soul. God created “swarms of living souls”. There are hundreds of instances in the Bible of human and animals being described as being “Souls”.Soul is not the same as spirit. Spirit is translated from the Hebrew word ru’ach,and Greek psy-khes , life force .Eccl.3.19 shows that man and beast have same ru’ach ,and at death this spirit goes back to God who gave it .Last but not least Psalm146:4His spirit goes out,he goes back to the ground;in that day his thoughts do perish.
Humans do not float off to heaven, at death nor are they re-incarnated. Humans survive in Gods memory where they wait a ressurection to the earth after it has been cleansed of badness.

There is good enough reasons why so many people are fascinated by numbers, the science of Numerology. It is know that the phycisist Isaac Newton studied all the numbers in the old testament of the Bible to discover at what date the world would come to an end. However absurd this may sound, there are plenty of intriguing examples where numbers seem to make perfect sense.
A study published in the Review Of Economics has come to the conclusion that ugly people are more likely to break the law. The BBC has described the findings as being significant in the field of anthropoetrics. But this is nothing new. Detecting someones criminal tendencies by their facial profile is a very old disclipline, this is known as physiognomy and is based on the thought that the face is the reflection of someones personality. That’s a scary thought but some would argue it’s obvious, although not always true. At some stage it was condemned as pseudoscience.
Physiognomy was particularily popular with the ancient Greeks, who formalised their beliefs, such as close-set eyes indicating that someone is untrustworthy, into the ‘science’ of physiognomy.
In response to my article Weighing the Human Soul, for which my research was inspired by Dan Browns’ book The Lost Symbol, many readers have commented on the article, often providing interesting feedback and ideas.
