Noetic Science – The Cause And Effect Theory
The principle of cause and effect says that everything is a cause that will cause something
after it, and everything is an effect that is caused by something before it. That’s all there is!
Without cause and effect nothing in the universe would work. It’s un unbreakable law. To succeed in live our lives in full we have to subscribe to it. We have to understand it and live by it.
Everything that is happening to us is some effect to a cause and the way we live is a reflection of our inner condition, our beliefs and our way of thinking. The thought is the most precious energy and are responsible for our circumstances. Not some situations or force we can’t control, but our own way of navigating our lives with thoughts. We often think in such repetitive ways , only to reinforce our personal condition and circumstances instead of thinking our way out of it.
Circumstances can be easily changed through the way of thinking. This principle is not new. Peak performance coaches like Anthony Robbins build their careers on this principle. If it wouldn’t work a guy like Tony Robbins simply wouldn’t sell out arenas for 20 years.
There are some great ways and techniques how you can make sure you are thinking the right thoughts. Ask yourself at all times “ What is the effect of my present thinking?” Keep your thoughts aligned with your desires.
When your thoughts are not aligned with your desires your body will tell you so by putting you into a negative state, you are “down”. When you are aligned, you feel great. The so called “flip switch” can help you to turn around immediately. When you “down”, force yourself to think pleasant thoughts.
How do you know when your thoughts are aligned with your desires, and when they are not? You can tell that, by simply noticing how you feel.
We have a precise monitoring system built into our body. When your thoughts are not aligned with your desire, your body will tell you by giving you a negative emotion; when your thoughts are consistent with your desires, your body will give you a positive emotion. This is why it is so important to keep monitoring your emotion moment by moment. You have the ability to switch into a positive emotional state at any given moment, as
long as you are willing to. The vibrational signal or energy will meet your desires on the same vibrational frequency.
Start monitoring the way you think now! I have been doing this for 20 years and also I still sometimes slip, what I have achieved for myself and my family feels magnificent.
Where do our thoughts go?
Ernest Holmes, the creator of the Science Of Mind movement has come up with a a very interesting theory. He writes: As we watch the process of thought we find that we may think consciously, and we also find that something happens to our thoughts after we have thought them; for instance, they become memory. This proves that we have a deeper aspect of mind, which is called subjective, lying just below the threshold of the conscious. This subjective mind is the place where our thoughts go and from where they eventually return to us again as memory. Observation proves this to be true; for it always happens this way. Observation has proven that the subjective mind is the seat of memory and that it contains mental pictures, or impressions, of all that has ever happened to the individual. As these mental imressions come to the surface of the conscious mind they are called memories.
Moreover observation has shown that the subjective mind is the builder of the body. It has proven that it is not the only seat of memory; it is although the avenue through which instinctive Man works. We mean by instinctive Man that part of the individual which came with him when he was born – that inner something which makes him what he is. For instance we do not have to consciously think to make the body function; so we say that the inner, the instinctive, Man, does this for us. This is true of most of the functions of the body; they appear to be automatic; they came with us and are natur’e way of working through us. So we say that in the unconscious or the sub-conscious or the subjective, there is a silent process forecver working away and always doing its duty, carryingon all of the unconscious activities of the body without effort on our part.

Pineal Gland – The Principal Seat Of the Soul?
In The Lost Secret, Dan Brown has Katherine Salomon lecturing Robert Langdon about the Pineal Gland and its magic capabilities, this is what she says;
“Perhaps you’ve heard… about the brain scans taken of yogis while they meditate? The human brain, in advanced states of focus, will physically create a waxlike substance from the pineal gland. This brain secretion is unlike anything else in the body. It has an incredible healing effect, can literally regenerate cells, and may be one of the reasons yogis live so long. This is real science, Robert. This substance has inconceivable properties and can be created only by a mind that has been highly tuned to a deeply focused state.”
Indeed throughout history, the Pineal Gland has been getting a lot of attention. Most famously it has been described as the “third eye”, or at least the source of the third eye.
Most interestingly, the philospher Descartes has written about the Pineal Gland in the last book published during his lifetime, The Passions Of The Soul, in 1649.
Just before he mentioned the pineal gland for the first time, Descartes emphasized that the soul is joined to the whole body: “We need to recognize that the soul is really joined to the whole body, and that we cannot properly say that it exists in any one part of the body to the exclusion of the others. For the body is a unity which is in a sense indivisible because of the arrangement of its organs, these being so related to one another that the removal of any one of them renders the whole body defective. And the soul is of such a nature that it has no relation to extension, or to the dimensions or other properties of the matter of which the body is composed: it is related solely to the whole assemblage of the body’s organs. This is obvious from our inability to conceive of a half or a third of a soul, or of the extension which a soul occupies. Nor does the soul become any smaller if we cut off some part of the body, but it becomes completely separate from the body when we break up the assemblage of the body’s organs” (AT XI:351, CSM I:339). But even though the soul is joined to the whole body, “nevertheless there is a certain part of the body where it exercises its functions more particularly than in all the others. […] The part of the body in which the soul directly exercises its functions is not the heart at all, or the whole of the brain.
It is rather the innermost part of the brain, which is a certain very small gland situated in the middle of the brain’s substance and suspended above the passage through which the spirits in the brain’s anterior cavities communicate with those in its posterior cavities. The slightest movements on the part of this gland may alter very greatly the course of these spirits, and conversely any change, however slight, taking place in the course of the spirits may do much to change the movements of the gland” (AT XI:351, CSM I:340).
The view that the soul is attached to the whole body is already found in St Augustine’s works: “in each body the whole soul is in the whole body, and whole in each part of it” (On the Trinity, book 6, ch. 6). St Thomas Aquinas accepted this view and explained it by saying that the soul is completely present in each part of the body just as whiteness is, in a certain sense, completely present in each part of the surface of a blank sheet of paper. In deference to Aristotle, he added that this does not exclude that some organs (the heart, for example) are more important with respect to some of the faculties of the soul than others are (Summa theologica, part 1, question 76, art. 8; Quaestiones disputatae de anima, art. 10; Summa contra gentiles, book 2, ch. 72).
Augustine’s and Aquinas’ thesis sounds reasonable as long as the soul is regarded as the principle of life. The principle of life may well held to be completely present in each living part of the body (just as biologists nowadays say that the complete genome is present in each living cell). However, Descartes did not regard the soul as the principle of life. He regarded it as the principle of thought. This makes one wonder what he may have meant by his remark. What would a principle of thought be doing in the bones and toes? One might think that Descartes meant that, although the pineal gland is the only organ to which the soul is immediately joined, the soul is nevertheless indirectly joined to the rest of the body by means of the threads and spirits in the nerves. But Descartes did not view this as immediate attachment: “I do not think that the soul is so imprisoned in the gland that it cannot act elsewhere. But utilizing a thing is not the same as being immediately joined or united to it” (30 July 1640). Moreover, it is clear that not all parts of the body are innervated.
The solution of this puzzle is to be found in a passage which Descartes wrote a few years before the Passions, in which he compared the mind with the heaviness or gravity of a body: “I saw that the gravity, while remaining coextensive with the heavy body, could exercise all its force in any one part of the body; for if the body were hung from a rope attached to any part of it, it would still pull the rope down with all its force, just as if all the gravity existed in the part actually touching the rope instead of being scattered through the remaining parts. This is exactly the way in which I now understand the mind to be coextensive with the body—the whole mind in the whole body and the whole mind in any one of its parts” (Replies to the sixth set of objections to the Meditations, 1641, AT VII:441, CSM II:297). He added that he thought that our ideas about gravity are derived from our conception of the soul.

The institute’s board of directors also contribute significantly to the institute.
WHAT EXACTLY ARE NOETIC SCIENCES?
The word “noetic” comes from the ancient Greek nous, for which there is no exact equivalent in English. It refers to “inner knowing,” a kind of intuitive consciousness—direct and immediate access to knowledge beyond what is available to our normal senses and the power of reason.
Noetic sciences are explorations into the nature and potentials of consciousness using multiple ways of knowing—including intuition, feeling, reason, and the senses. Noetic sciences explore the “inner cosmos” of the mind (consciousness, soul, spirit) and how it relates to the “outer cosmos” of the physical world.
IONS’ VISION:
“At the Institute of Noetic Sciences, we employ the rigor of science, balanced by personal and collective wisdom, to support a shift in consciousness that transforms present global conditions into a world grounded in freedom, wisdom, and love. We serve an emerging movement of globally conscious citizens dedicated to manifesting our highest capacities”.
The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS):
- Explores the frontiers of consciousness
- Builds bridges between science and spirit
- Researches subtle energies and the powers of healing
- Inquires into the science of love, forgiveness, and gratitude
- Studies the effects of conscious and compassionate intention
- Seeks to understand the basis of prevailing worldviews
- Practices freedom of thought and freedom of spirit
IONS’ MISSION:
“Advancing the science of consciousness and human experience to serve individual and collective transformation”

Are We All Connected On a Quantum Level?
I have received an email from Song Chengxiang from Quantum Mindpower, suggesting we are all connected. Of course that is not a new theory, but he’s just attended a seminar and learned an interesting way how to proof the theory. I want to share this with you here:
Song Chengxiang says he was amazed by the result. He’s had a friend that he had not
seen for years, he knew where she worked, but never had a chance to meet her again. After he
learned this technique, he decided to try it out,and use it to find his friend. He wrote the
following sentence on a blank piece of paper. “IWILL MEET LUCY”. By the way, Lucy is not her real
name, I just use it here as an example. After writing down the words, he’s canceled any repeated
letters in the sentence. For example, there are 3 Ls in this sentence, so he canceled the other two, only
kept one. After doing this, he only had the letters “I W L M E T U C Y” The next thing is to use these capital letters to construct a drawing.
You can draw anything, he says the drawing does not have to make any sense, as long as it is made of these
letters. Then before he went to bed that night, he looked at the drawing, and held a picture of it
in his mind, and then I went to sleep. The next morning, he totally released it, threw away the
paper, and never thought about it again. This is because the subconscious mind needs trust, and
the more you trust it, the more it will work for you. He totally forgot about it, and let the
subconscious work on it. An amazing thing happened – one week later, he met his friend. He was
so surprised, this stuff works so well.
Don’t dismiss it, try it yourself. I will certainly do. It can only bring us one step closer to the truth, whether it works or doesn’t.
